Ammonite Vessels

Another manifestation of Layered Landlines these feature ammonite impressions (cast in clay from real fossils), single or groups embedded into the clay, further enhancing the idea of geological layering and the revealing of past history. A strong turquoise matt glaze enhances the textures and reacts with fragments of glaze that has been pitted into the surface of the clay prior to firing to add further depth to each piece. Please note these are not food safe. Please contact me to enquire about similar items I may have available to purchase.
